EXPANSION JOINTS

Expansion joints operate in unique environments and are a critical link to the sustainability of a bridge structure. The effects of failing expansion joints or improper system selection will severely weaken the structural integrity of a bridge.

 

ATLANTE Expansion Joints (AEJ) permit displacements and rotations between abutted structural parts, ensuring the continuity of the carriageway and a watertight seal.

 

There are different series of ATLANTE Expansion Joints (AEJ) available, each one having a certain movement range and specific performances to accommodate:

 

AEJ-N: Nosing

AEJ-C: Cantilever

AEJ-G: Moulded Rubber

AEJ-R: Moulded Rubber

AEJ-M: Modular

AEJ-B: Bridge
